“POETRY on the Move”, the festival, which has been held by the International Poetry Studies Institute at the University of Canberra since 2015, will be run “slowly” this year over five months from June to November. Festival director Shane Strange has already invited three online guest poets-in-residence, Vahni Capildeo (Trinidad/UK), Yeow Kai Chai (Singapore) and Lisa Brockwell, (Australia) who will be submitting monthly articles. There will also be a series of free online poetry workshops through September, October and November run by poets Owen Bullock, Subhash Jaireth, Lucy Alexander and Melinda Smith.
