Jacqui Malins

Jacqui Malins is a stunt poet based in Canberra. Since discovering poetry in 2013, she has created performances ‘Words in Flight’ (2018), and ‘Cavorting with Time’(with cellist Julia Horvath, 2017), with the related book published by Recent Work Press in 2018. She has featured at the National Folk Festival, Unspoken Words, the Woodford Festival and more, and was a finalist at the Australian Poetry Slam 2015 and Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup 2017. Jacqui also organises poetry events, including Mother Tongue Multilingual Poetry which she co-founded in 2015 to showcase poetry in diverse languages.
