In Conversation

Mornings at the NPG : Mani Rao and Alvin Pang

Is one poet’s small leap another’s giant step?

Here, at the National Portrait Gallery, we’ll be hosting two ‘in conversation’ sessions between our poets-in-residence. These sessions will feature readings from their IPSI chapbooks (commissioned especially for the festival), followed by a broad-ranging discussion touching on the their poetic journeys, influences, inspirations and ideas.

In this session two Asian poets with a global reputation, Mani Rao from India and Alvin Pang from Singapore.
