An empty channel ready

for a coming storm brewing

at distant Bukit Timah sky.

Citizen quicken pace

to distance space,

of the coming pour.

We are all exercising for countless days,

to ready body for the coming invisible wave.

In mask we pace in steps and breaths.

Hoping to be ready for the coming pest.

Ready or not it will come in waves.
